Microsoft has confirmed that recent Windows 11 updates are causing significant disruptions to IIS web services, according to reports from the company’s Release Health Dashboard. The problematic updates, identified as KB5066835 and KB5065789 released around September 29, have been generating “ERR_CONNECTION_RESET” errors when accessing localhost loopbacks and other IIS-based connections.
